This is a bird watchers paradise!!! My husband saw 54 birds in 3 days!!! The rooms are tasteful, airy, and right on the water!! The showers are not hot but they are refreshing. How wonderful to fall asleep to the waves lapping on the shore and awaken to the birds singing in the morning. Then meander up to the dining room for breakfast. In the evening you can have dinner or just enjoy a cocktail made by Kinga. Kinga and Elio were fantastic hosts, always making sure that we had everything we needed and arranging taxis for us to go exploring or go to town for a meal. I would recommend renting a car so you can go exploring on your own, but either way works. Very peaceful. Not fancy but so appealing in its simplicity. If you dare, challenge Kinga to a game of Mexican trains!

We stayed at Belizima for our 23rd anniversary in September. We could not have asked for a more romantic and relaxing stay!! The ocean views and sunsets are some of the most beautiful we have seen in our travels. Kinga, the proprietor, was so welcoming and was an incredible resource for first time visitors to Sarteneja. On our most recent trip, Belizima was booked, but we still visited and still feel like part of the Belizima family.

What a stunning place ☀️ gorgeous rooms close to the water the perfect place to relax and unwind. Super accommodating staff! Bikes were organised as its a little far from town to walk as well as recommending places to visit. We had breakfast a couple of the days which is 25 Belize dollars, the food was fresh and delicious but for the price I’m not sure if it’s worth it as occasionally the portions were small. The WiFi is also hit and miss. If you have time to visit the area defiantly check this place out 😇

This is such a beautiful property with beach front cabanas beautiful open air main function house! The owner Kinga and her staff are all a pleasure so accommodating and welcoming when you’re there you feel like home!

If you are looking for tranquility. Serenity. Relaxation. Immersion into your beautiful surroundings, then Belizima is where you want to be! We spent several weeks in the Effie cabana, just enjoying our surroundings. Our accommodations were comfortable and tastefully appointed. We loved spending time on the screened porch, whether drinking coffee or enjoying a quiet evening, watching magnificent sunsets, while listening to the palms sway, and the nearby water lapping at the beach. Kinga makes delicious meals and wonderful cocktails. We couldn't have had a better stay in this area of Belize and we will be sure to visit again!

My partner and I (and our six-month old 'potlicker' puppy) spent two relaxing and rejuvenating nights at the Belizima Eco Resort... we really enjoyed the quiet setting and private beach to swim in the blue waters of the Corozal Bay. The cabana was stylishly appointed, spacious and comfortable. Delicious home-cooked breakfasts were included and we appreciated the invitation to savour an informal dinner after drinks at the bar.<br /> The location was perfect for us... away from the village but only ten minutes from the attractions and restaurants in Sarteneja village.

Tucked away from the village of Sarteneja, this gem of a resort offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere with the perfect amount of hospitality. Cycled to Belizima from Sarteneja, beautiful location with a very peaceful atmosphere. Spent the afternoon relaxing, the staff were very helpful and friendly, there is good food and drinks available. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay at Belizma. The location was perfect, close to the town but yet tucked away for a peaceful retreat. Kinga was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring a seamless experience. The property itself was immaculately clean with modern amenities and thoughtful touches throughout. The best part is the beautiful sunset every day, not to mention the property is ideally situated on the bay, directly on the ocean. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area! Will definitely stay again.

This is a brand new place. Kinga, the proprietor, has done a fantastic job of making her dream come true. Currently, she is waiting for BTB approval to rent the cabanas. Location is right on the sea.

Deep relax - Wonderful place ran by an enthusiastic founder/manager duo. If you look for serenity, comfort, wellbeing, peace, this is the place. Plus the founder is an excellent chef. Plus, four of the cutest dogs. As with any remote location the roads aren't the best, so make sure your vehicle is capable of some mild off-roading.

Relaxing and peaceful - The breakfast was made fresh every day. And we got to eat with other guest and Kinga each day it was very enjoyable and felt like having breakfast with friends. Love it all.

f you’re looking for peace and quiet this is your spot, the price was right, the location was beautiful, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend. The powered milk, get the uht milk in the carton lasts a long time. Forgot to put a tspoon in the cabin, made coffee, abandoned half way through, no tspoon. These are minor things that can be fixed so my rating still applies. Fantastic place.

Direct access to the water. It is very serene with the wave sounds at night. The cabanas have nets, so you can enjoy sitting outside at night without mosquitos and generally nice facilities. Above all is the hospitality 🙂 much appreciated!

Honeymoon Romance - What a beautiful weekend we enjoyed with my Son and his new Wife on their honeymoon. Fantastic BBQ on the beach with Sea front rooms. Sunset are amazing as well as the sparkling blue waters. Stars are amazing and beautiful to watch without the noise of the village. Truly Beautiful place. And I became a Grandma 9 months later... Host Kinga is A amazing Soul and a Beautiful hardworking Woman.

Hidden gem in paradise - We had the most relaxing vacation ever at Belizima! The casita was private and perfectly equipped. We were steps from the water and spent hours just enjoying the dock and our hammock on the porch. Kinga and her staff were kind and welcoming and had lots of recommendations for nearby places to visit. We did venture out to Shipstern where we enjoyed the butterfly enclosure and saw lots of iguanas. Hope to come back someday!

Belizima is a gem - This is a hidden gem tucked away near the village of Sarteneja. From the inviting host and bar/restaurant, the tranquil beach, to the relaxing and well appointed cabanas, this resort has everything you could ask for. A short drive to the village's shops and restaurants is a great way to spend time but you won't want to be away from Belizima for long. If you're looking for a quiet getaway to recharge or a jumping off point for a Belize adventure, this couldn't be a more perfect place. They also host special events such as weddings.
